View Full Version : X Factor Emily batters girl
X FACTOR finalist Emily Nakanda has been caught in a second shock video — beating up a teenage girl.
The happy slapping video — sent via mobile phone to kids near Emily’s home — shows the 15-year-old launching an attack in her school uniform.
In it she gets the blonde girl in a headlock, swings her round by the hair, punches and batters her and shoves her to the ground.
The footage emerged only days after The Sun told how Emily, calling herself gang member Lady Shiverz, threatened to cut out a boy’s eyes with a knife in another video clip.
It is bound to affect her future on the X Factor, with chiefs investigating the incident last night.
The video shows Emily telling the girl, known only as Anna, that she is going to rip out her hair, then moaning: “If it rips out I’m gonna get blood on my clothes.”
She then cracks her knuckles before charging at Anna and grabbing her by the hair.
A source said the video was sent to “loads of kids” around Emily’ s school and home in North Finchley, North London.
Emily told show chiefs Anna was a pal she had a “disagreement” with.
A spokeswoman said: “We in no way condone her behaviour. Our investigations are continuing but at this time we are taking no further action.”

I was wondering that, I do kind of feel sorry for her, what she did was wrong, but it mustn't be nice for her family.

stupid cow.
Not very nice for the blonde girl to be humiliated even further by putting the vid on the website
Oh my god... I have just lost any respect I may have had for her...
That's a pretty shocking video

That's really shocking.
Anyone who defended her before can't possibly say that it was teenagers messing about this time; that is HORRIBLE. D:
I think she should be removed from the show, and replaced with Victoria/Kim/Stephanie.

I don't quite see that. I'm judging her on her singing, nothing else. I'm allowed to vote all I want for her, so don't try stop me.

So "I Knew You Were Waiting" and "Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman" were the best performances so far?
If you're judging on singing and singing alone, surely you'd support the person who's sung the best? Which is Rhydian, so I wouldn't even pretend Emily's the best vocally.

The fact is I'm allowed to support whoever I want, and I'm supporting Emily. I think she does a great job at singing and although I think they haven't been amazing but still great, I think I'll wait for the performance of a life time from her.

You can't be so sure. Sisi was booted out of Hope for having a criminal conviction, so the producers aren't likely to endorse what Emily is doing in that video.

Yes, but they wouldn't do that to Emily now that she's made the live shows.
Shes going to lose lot of voters, and I think shes ina lose lose situation.
If its mentioned on the show, more people will lose respect for her.
If it isnt mentioned on the show, people will think shes trying to hide it and brush it off.

Wow. She's in the live shows. So what? It's not the kind of thing the producers want to assosciate themselves with.
And even if she isn't booted off by the producers, she will certainly be voted off by the public, either (a) because she's among the more mediocre of the singers there or (b) because of the happy slapping/gangster incidents...

She'll mention it in her VT for sure.
"This week has been hard with all the rumours about me in the press."
X Factor is a family show, and it's obvious parents wouldn't want their kids voting for someone who's involved in one of Britains biggest offence right now.

Although, she is more likely to be frowned upon for threatening to stab someone and happy slapping.
She'll turn it into a sob story.

Does anyone know if its a double elimination for sure?
If it is, she'll definately be gone, if she continues with mediocre peformances combined with this weeks bad press then she has no chance.
If its a single? Welll, who knows. I think she has a good chance of going.

Someone on page one said no-one can try and defend her, but I think they can tbh, its a teenage girl, theyve bene plenty of fights at schoool, plenty of fights out of school, and the fact that its recorded on a mobile is no different. How do we know the girl didnt start it earlier in the day? How do we know the girl didnt say something nasty about Emily? exactly, we don't

If its a double she wont go anywhere. Alishas already out, and they wont let Sharon lose her final 2 acts
I think Alisha could be saved by Emilys bad press.
If Emily goes, I doubt Alisha will.
I just cant see Alisha being in the bottom two again, unless its a double.
Billy
02-11-2007, 12:29 PM
I can, I dont see why people are gonna vote for her now, I mean normally every year, the person in the bottom 2 in the first week, will get even more votes in the second because people dont want them in the bototm 2 again. That didnt happen for Alisha, so imo shel be gone
Does anyone know if its definately a double elimination? Or will we just have to wait until the live show?

I don't think any of those things are relevent; there's no excuse for that behavior at all. Emily herself said they had had a "disagreement", which is hardly warrant for the girl to be beaten up like she was.
The fact that you're trying to defend these actions is very surprising, I think if I saw my favourite doing that, I'd quickly switch support onto someone that doesn't go around beating people up.

Well you and me are different people. And how do you know? I know theres been cases where some people have been nasty little b*******, and have gotten beaten up. Fact is, people dont always think before there actions. Im not condoning what she did, cos its a horrible thing she has done, but I dont know why she did it, but havent people made mistakes as teenagers or adults? Why should something like this ruin her career over a silly fight. She doesnt deserve to be taken out ofthe show because shes had a bloody fight. I think youll find lots of teenagers (and not just chavs), have found themselves in fights before, and although it isnt the best way to deal with things, people ,make mistakes

Well Sisi got removed over a "silly fight", so I think Emily should too. It's pretty evident from the news over the past couple of days that she's a nasty little brat.

I suppose, but its not as if shes even a favourite, if shes not out this week, itll be the next or the week after. She wont go far in this competitiion.

That's not fighting; you're acting like every 14 year old in the country goes out and beats people up and films it. It's not something you can just shrug off, it's a big thing, which is horrible behavior, and is a problem that our society has at the moment and is trying to stop. Having someone who takes part in these kind of things brandished on our television screens as someone lovely who we should vote for isn't going to help this issue whatsoever.

Im not saying every 14 year old beats people up. But your so quick to have her head on a plate, when your forgettng that she is just a teenager, and like it or not, LOADS of teenagers fight, and it shouldnt happen, but it does. The girl does not deserve her dream taken away from her just because she was fighting

I dont think the producers would send in a replacement because it would be unfair on the contestants who had made it though 2 weeks already. If they do remove her, they will do it so they dont have to have a double elimination.

And the fact is, it's not just "fighting", Billy, it's harrassment and bullying and unacceptable behavior which is not as common as you deem it. Just because other people do it too does not make it any better.
