So we've heard all three songs. Of them all I loved Mark's second - he really nailed it.

He seems much more nervous that Michelle.

Quite agree Michelle's final outfit was truly awful. She dre.dssed liked she was did a lot older that she was.

Didnt like how Foxy and I think it was Simon more or less said they think Michelle will win. At least Nicky was neutral which at this stage is what is needed.

Anyway off to do a bit more voting for Mark.

I adored Mark's final song, it is a proper pop song, and that is what Mark would be if he won - a proper pop singer!

However I think now that Michelle will win, because the public seem to want a different style of winner, and she fits the bill.

It's a shame though because I don't think for one minute that Michelle will be a pop star. She'll end up "easy listening"!

I've voted several times for Mark and still hope that he'll win, he was fantastic!

I think the show is too long and dull tonight. Michelle sang the single better than Mark who was a bit flat.

Michelle was singing nasally on the next one but Mark chose a song I didn't know.

I've forgotten about the last two songs already. Michelle will win though because her songs have been better.

As much as I really don't like Michelle at all, I do think she performed better last night and probably deserved to win. I still would have preferred it to be Mark mind you, not cos I think he's a brilliant Pop Idol cos I don't, but cos he isn't Michelle lol

On Pop Idol Extra they said that Pete had disappeared cos he was desperate for the loo, but he didn't re-appear at all so it does look suspisciously like he did just storm off in a sulk.

Pete Waterman confuses me. He rants in the papers about this year's pop idol being rubbish and full of kareoke singers and then on Saturday says how wonderful it was. Then he stormed off.

Quite agree with other comments. If you are talking about a Pop Idol you arent talking about Michelle much as she has a good voice. Mark much more fitted the image. I do hope he does well out of it cos as Simon says he's an ordinary bloke with a good voice. Nothing wrong with that at all.

I could imagine Michelle going more into the musical side of things rather than pop. She certainly isnt going to have a career like Will's out of it.

I think Mark lost because of that last song he sang. It was absolutely rubbish whereas Michelle's was 100% better.

Think all us Mark voters should have a party in Boris's to commiserate. lol

I think Pete is very image conscious. He wants the looks as well as the voice. And Michelle doesn't fit his criteria of a Pop Idol due to her size.

The highlight of the show for me was Daniel singing 'Tainted Love'. He never fails to reduce me to fits of giggles. The man is a legend! :joker:

I suppose he does look like Beaker. But his oddness was VERY contrived IMHO.

I suspect he actually has an excellent voice and he covers it up.

I remember Daniel's first meeting with the judges :shocked: they had the Jaws theme playing during his interview (very appropriate I thought!). So we can surmise he is either one very scary dude or one helluva damn good actor.
