Here is a copy of the e.mail I recieved this morning concerning the release date for Dean and Bubble record Dean and Bubles World Cup 2002 song "Standing Tall" will be in the shops on May 20th, the single should include an extended mix of "Standing Tall", "Another Way to Kill Me" (one of Deans old songs) and the video,
which was shot in Manchester last Thursday.
Also if you're in London this Thursday evening they will be going to the premiere of "Bend it Like Beckham"
at the Odean, Leicester Square.
And rumour has it they will have a bucket of footballs with them to sign and give away
- so if you want one, be ther for about 7:00pm!

Story just released on Ananova:
Gay radio station backing Big Brother duo's World Cup song
Gay and lesbian radio station The Scene is backing Big Brother duo Dean and Bubble for chart success with their World Cup anthem Standing Tall.
The Scene's head of music Stuart Kelly claims the tune could become the people's favourite in the way Three Lions was adopted by England fans at Euro '96.
Dean and Bubble will be guest presenters on The Scene between 10pm and 1am on May 1.
Stuart said: "I have heard most of the other contenders efforts and there is no doubt that Dean and Bubble's song is very much on the Three Lions Tip, mixed with Oliver's Consider Yourself makes it the perfect football anthem, which fans up and down the country can sing to, while cheering on England."
The Scene can be heard on Sky Digital channel 889 and online at www.thesceneradio.co.uk.
Standing Tall is out on May 20.

On the back of all the media hype surrounding Ant & Dec's official World Cup song, it's good to hear that Bubble & Dean's song is getting some backing as well.
I STILL haven't heard it! :bawling:
Must try and tune in to Sky Digital Channel 889 next Wednesday night - surely they'll play it then! :colour: :dazzler: :colour:
Just seen that the release date for Bubble & Dean's World Cup record has been put back a week to 27th May, putting it in direct competition with Ant & Dec and Will Young!
Story from Ananova:
Bubble and Dean go head-to-head with Ant and Dec
The release date of Bubble and Dean's World Cup single has been put back a week.
Standing Tall will now be in the shops on May 27.
It means the former Big Brother housemates will be up against Ant and Dec's official England song, We're On The Ball.
Bubble is prepared for the challenge. He said: "Let's get ready to rumble!"
How odd! Wonder what the logic is behind the change of release date - any ideas? :conf:

band news
Week Commencing April 22nd
Working on a new song this week! Not one of Deans - but one of Jason Ensa's "Don't you wanna be loved". A great first single if ever I heard it!
The release of "Standing Tall" has been put back a week - it's now in the shops on Monday the 27th of May.
The reason for the delay is due to wanting to include the "Standing Tall" video on the CD single! Pop the disc in your computer and watch Dean and Bubble give it some!
Recieved the new web address this morning and this is the reason they gave for putting the release date back.
You can see a part of the video. I't is great and I for one will be buying it.

Can you tell us what the new web address is, please? I'd love to see a clip of the video. :dazzler:

Hi, DLS :wavey:
I see you've been a member of the forum for a while, and have finally 'taken the plunge' and made your first post. Welcome!
Jbellemeg - thank you so much for providing that link. Although it pains me slightly as a Scot to say this , I think the song is fantastic! Very catchy, great video - good luck to Dean & Bubble.
....... and in the video, did I spot the lovely Vanessa on keyboards? :dazzler:
