How do you know he doesn't know who Shakespeare was? You're not him, and I think its unfair to judge him base don one comment. How do the Twins not know who Gordon Brown is?

I watched every series of BB, I have them all on tape, that doesn't mean I'm trying to be like them. Brian knows most of all that if you have a game plan you will be found out and then evicted. Just because Brian may have reminded you of some housemates that doesn't mean he was trying to be other HM's.

You pretty much contradicted yourself in the end of your post - "who know what he was doing" - Your right, only Brian does. We can only go by what we saw on the screen. I think it is unfair to go by what we see read in papers, as 80% of it is rubbish. Brian in the house, IMO, was appeared to be genuine, and he was god damn funny.

Twins may have made the most money, but that was inevitable due to their "novelty", however Brian IS the winner and has gone in history as the winner. It is he who recived the most votes, way ahead of the other finalists, and it is he who got the 100K! It is unfair, IMO, to say he didn't deserve it as he polled the highest number of votes.

IMO, Brian haters are mostly just bitter Twin fans.

Well IMO he was fake, I did try to like him, but he made it so hard wit the wat he acted, he never made me laugh once, he just didn't rock my boat, the only thing that I really liked what he did was when he stood up to Charley.

And the twins "psychopathic" thing was IMO the funniest thing from BB8, it even got voted the funniest moment on BB8 on the office BB website (not the forum)

Well,, we were obviously watching different BBBM. She said on the phone that she never even spoke to the newspaper and it wasn't true. If you look at the article it never has any direct quotes from Brian or his mum. It's a "A friend of.." story.

Even being a Brian fan myself, I will admit that he was not being completely genuine whilst in the house. However, at the same time, as time goes on and pressure builds, I would imagine it becomes difficult not to play up to the cameras a little, which is what Brian did.

I certainly don’t think the extent to which he did this was a step too far or anything; in fact, I found a lot of the things he said or did quite amusing, which is why I’m a fan. I am a huge fan of the twins as well though, and they sailed through BB following similar sorts of principles.

In summary, therefore, I would say that Brian wasn’t ‘fake’ in the negative term; he played up to the cameras, yes, but it worked to his advantage in the end and he was overall a great housemate in my opinion. Furthermore, you could say that the circumstances in the BB house bring out different responses from housemates, which may have been why Brian sometimes said things he may not have done in the outside world. Anyway, as a result overall, his fan-base made sure he won.

If he dropped the act now either the major press would not notice [in fact , he may have already dropped the act] because he is not exactly an A-Lister or the press would jump all over him for it exposing him to the world so either way it would nto be a wise career move for Brian.

I actually liked Brian, not enough to vote him to win though. He had his funny moments and Iam not sure if he was fake or not, he dosent seem to be around at the moment, so I guess in saying that he was wanting to stay at home, be with his friends and go to the pub was genuine enough and he seems to be keeping to that.
