Ten celebrities are set to leave loved-ones and luxuries behind as they’re dumped in the middle of the Australian jungle with only the wildlife and each other for company.
TV’s toughest celebrity challenge is back – and this time it’s harder than ever!
Cut off from the outside world in one of the cruellest environments on earth, the personalities have just basic food rations to survive on and will have to undergo petrifying and stomach-churning challenges to win supplies.
They will be filmed 24 hours a day and their celebrity status will count for nothing as they battle it out to be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle.
This year the famous Bushtucker Trials are set to be the worst yet and there will be plenty of surprises to keep the celebrities on their toes every step of the way.
Faced with petrifying heights, unpalatable parts of animals to eat, underwater tasks and every kind of bug imaginable, will the celebrities have what it takes to make it through the trials and take food back to the camp?
Who will be the first to quit? Who will be pining for their loved ones, and who will be the first to cry: “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!”
Ant and Dec present the seventh series of the award-winning ITV1 show. The duo will bring all the latest gossip and news live every night as the jungle VIPs rest their fates firmly in the hands of the British public.
Viewers will decide which celebrity will take on the dreaded Bushtucker Trials and who, ultimately, will win the coveted crown.
Executive producer Richard Cowles said: “This is the seventh series of “I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!” and, once again, we are raising the stakes. We have a great cast in place but they have little idea of what they have let themselves in for. The challenge is above and beyond anything faced by their predecessors. This year’s trials are the most terrifying yet and the surprises will come thick & fast and from the moment their journey begins.”
ITV2 returns with a new look I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here Now! presented by last year’s King of the Jungle, Matt Willis, and his fiancé, TV presenter Emma Griffiths. Coming straight after the ITV1 shows, it’ll feature extra footage and interviews both from the UK, presented by Mark Durden-Smith, and in Australia, presented by Matt and Emma.
I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! is made by ITV Productions for ITV1 and ITV2. The Executive Producers are Richard Cowles, Beth Hart, Chris Lore and Natalka Znak, the Series Editor is Becca Walker and the Series Producer is Marty Benson.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here…NOW! is made by ITV Productions for ITV2. The Executive Producer is Chris Brogden and the Series Producer is Martin Dance.
I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! is sponsored by Iceland.
