Victoria Beckham shocked Ugly Betty costume designer Eduardo Castro when she revealed her 23in waist.

The Spice Girl – who debuted on US TV last night as Wilhelmina's bridesmaid – has an hour-glass figure that many Hollywood star would kill for.

'Her waist was around 23in, which is very, very tiny,' he reveals.

Posh, 33 - always the professional - took along her own collection of designer gear to her costume fittings.

'A lot of the shoes were her own,' Eduardo tells msnbc.msn.com.

'She had a lot of Jimmy Choos. She brought sunglasses, she brought a belt. We were both on the same page. It just worked really well.'

It does happen I had the same sort of problem until I was about 15. My waist was only 26 inches. When got to 16 I had filed out to 28 inches and remained that way for years. I still can eat what I like and I hardly put on weight although my waist is now 30 inches. I guess it has a lot to do with bone size and how fast you burn up food.

Having said that Victoria Beckham is a ugly thin bint and she does need to put some weight on those bones before she damages her health.
