Niki and the fire

You know how Niki was singing 'Because of You' on the stage with the fire?

How funny would it have been if her skirt got caught on fire? :laugh:

I know I'm a bit evil but I can't have been the only one who was thinking it. Especially when you saw how close she was getting to the flames.

It's them things that come down when the judges come on the stage that scary me lol, they look like they could start a fire.

I hated it when she went "Because. Of. You" like paused while singing that part, so for that she should of caught her hair on fire. The she could sing Britney next week!

It wasent a good performance to overrated and yeah.

They had to use the fire and she had to move around the stage to try and make the performance more interesting. She should've just stood and sang the song, no gimmicks, and she could've really belted this one but her vocals weren't as great as they could've been. She had no emotional connection with it neither because of the silly grinning, and the fact that she was focusing the song on Simon also proves that.

Actually, I was expecting her to walk straight into it as well at some point… she really didn’t seem with it at all. I’m not sure what happened to Niki – I was a little disappointed with her performance. Then again, just because I was disappointed does not mean I think she was the worst. I just think things weren’t going well for her in terms of the song, and her state of mind, therefore resulting in a weaker night overall.
