BOOKMAKERS’ favourite Gemma Atkinson has been tipped to win by her old science teacher.

Ray Williams said the ex-Hollyoaks star, 22, was a model pupil at Castlebrook High, Bury.

He said: “She was a wonderful young person with a pleasant disposition and hard-working.”

Ray said Gemma was “level-headed” but added: “I don’t know how she will cope with spiders.”

She is 9-2 fave at Ladbrokes.
