It's official: Katie Hopkins has entered the Jungle

Just when you thought there was enough alpha female action in the jungle, along comes I'm A Celebrity's newest recruit, Katie Hopkins.

Katie, best known for being that posh ball-breaker on The Apprentice, has hung up her business high heels and opted for those unflattering khakis instead.

Famous for her sharp tongue and scheming shenanigans, how will the 31-year-old get on with fellow camp divas Janice and Lynne?

Katie joins I’m a CelebThe Apprentice maneater Katie Hopkins has joined I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.

An ITV spokeswoman confirmed the 31-year-old had entered the Snake Rock camp in place of former sex pistols manager Malcolm McLaren who refused to go onto the show, despite travelling to Australia in preparation.

Last night viewers saw the celebrities enter two different camps in what is a first for the ITV programme.

Snake Rock were immediately at a disadvantage thanks to McLaren, but ‘supermodel’ Janice Dickinson and PR guru Lynne Franks wasted no time in tearing into each other.

The other two camp members, former Hollyoaks babe Gemma Atkinson and ex-5ive singer J Brown sat quietly watching the two women squabble.

The addition of the outspoken Hopkins – who has been accused of being a home wrecker following affairs with married men - should add more fuel to the female fire and possibly send sole male J over the edge.
