Mark McCall has resigned from his position as Ulster coach.

Ulster Rugby announced that McCall's three-and-a-half year tenure had come to an end at a press conference at Ravenhill on Tuesday morning.

Speculation about McCall's departure had been rife since his side lost 32-14 at home to Gloucester in Friday night's opening Heineken Cup Pool game.

So how many of you thought I was talking about Davina

Not me because if you mention that name I always think of Mark. I can believe he has resigned.

Not me, for two reasons:

1. This thread is in the sport forum
2. She's already confirmed she's doing BB9

:spin:
