HOWEVER valiantly we strive to remain unbiased and close our ears to poisonous talk, it's hard to stop preconceptions attaching themselves to the back of our minds like limpets wearing crampons. In light of that, the Shilpa Shetty before us today is a bit of a surprise - a pleasant one - and nothing like some media commentators would have us believe.
Just goes to prove that our mantra must be “Take as you find”, rather than accepting as gospel the things other people say.
In the 10 months since she rose above the vulgarities of Jade Goody, to emerge the winner of Celebrity Big Brother 2007, the Bollywood star has had to dodge the kind of barbs that would pierce armour-plating.....
