X Factor loses out to StrictlySTRICTLY Come Dancing beat the X Factor last night at the Variety Club Showbiz Awards.

It also trounced drama Life On Mars and Any Dream Will Do to scoop best TV show gong.

The talent show winner Lee Mead got the newcomer prize for his debut in West End hit Joseph.

Jerry Springer won the International award and Jude Law and Keira Knightley were crowned big screen king and queen.

See it on Sky Three on Saturday or Sky One on Sunday

Strictly attracts an older audience ie 50+ whereas X Factor attracts the 16-34 age range, a large amount of which would be out on a Saturday.
