Fizziotherapy for tired starsI’M A Celeb chiefs are giving the stars energy drinks so they can handle Bushtucker Trials.
Famished contestants are struggling to complete the tasks because they are so drained of energy from lack of food.
Last night Rodney and Janice forced the camp to endure another night of tiny rations after winning just TWO meals in the Catch A Crawling Star challenge.
Yesterday campmates made a direct appeal to producers after energy levels hit a low.
Janice turned to cameras and announced: “I feel really tired — we may all have to sleep for hours if we don’t get the drinks.”
Anna added: “I’m not sure we’ll be able to do the challenge.”
Later Cerys was called to the Bush Telegraph and returned with a bag full of yellow powder.
They poured the mixture into their flasks and moments later started to wake up.
Rodney said: “It's amazing how much a fizzy drink does to you these days.”
An insider said: “It’s not something we do all the time. We just don’t want footage of them lying around asleep — it would be dreadful TV.”
