I consider myself pretty regular. Since joining, I've posted quite a lot... at some points more regularly than others, depending on threads. But I always visit even if I don't post every day, because there isn't always a thread I feel the need to post in.
Generally, once I get active on a particular day I post in quite a few different threads.

I dont particularly like this type of thread as someone always has their feelings hurt as they feel they should be included on people's list.

I think those that post daily could all class themselves as "regular" members, irrespective of how many words their post contains. People might not like a members style of posting but humiliating them in a thread is not the way forward. The only persons post content we each have control over is our own.

Please don't think I'm taking it personally that I'm not on people's lists. I admit it's of my own doing because I'm a bit shy and don't always join in discussions like all my friends do because I sometimes feel like what I say doesn't matter and other people's posts are always more interesting, hence the reasons they get noticed and I don't. I also need encouraging to join in and initiate conversations a lot - a couple of members on here have been down this avenue with me on MSN and I'm getting the impression people find me unfriendly because of the way I am.

I admit it's of my own doing because I'm a bit shy and don't always join in discussions like all my friends do because I sometimes feel like what I say doesn't matter and other people's posts are always more interesting, hence the reasons they get noticed and I don't. I also need encouraging to join in and initiate conversations a lot - a couple of members on here have been down this avenue with me on MSN and I'm getting the impression people find me unfriendly because of the way I am.

Although we have never really conversed, I find you to be very friendly on here. :bigsmile:

Try not to worry about what you post when you do, because I honestly don't care if what I post will seem 'out of place' (so long as it's within the rule guidelines) - cos often time I just post whatever I'm thinking at the time.

I don't go crazy with posting, I only post in places I see that I can make a valid contribution to - as do you, and so you shouldn't worry if you don't seem to make it on peoples lists - this just means that you may not post AS often, but when you do it's quality over quantity.

I don't go crazy with posting, I only post in places I see that I can make a valid contribution to - as do you, and so you shouldn't worry if you don't seem to make it on peoples lists - this just means that you may not post AS often, but when you do it's quality over quantity.

Yeah, the "valid contribution" sounds a bit like me, I'll join in if I'm interested and feel I can post something relevant. I won't always post when there's an argument or I feel things are going too off-topic for me because I'm like "What's the point in saying something?"
