We have to admit we feel thoroughly miserable now. The reason? We've just had a quick look at Chanelle Hayes's MySpace profile to see how she's bearing up following her split from Ziggy Lichman - and the signs aren't good.
For starters, there's the track that blares out the second you open the site: 'Cry' by Rihanna. You know the one? Altogether now: "This time was different / Felt like I was just a victim / And it cut me like a knife / When you walked out of my life." Cheery, eh? What's more, her relationship status has been changed to "single" and her current mood is "sick".
So what's been going on since Ziggy went public on their torrid relationship? Well, according to friends, Chanelle understandably "hit the roof" when she saw his revelations in Heat and a Sunday tabloid.
"She sent him a text almost straight away, calling him a *******," says one pal. "She was devastated but angry at the same time. She sent him another text asking for the keys to her flat back and suggested he might trash it. She was going crazy." And now? "Behind closed doors, she's still devastated, but she's pretending she doesn't care and is moving on."
Meanwhile, Chanelle will doubtless be not-very-comforted by some unsolicited words of support from former housemate Charley Uchea. "Look, I'm not going to make out I'm close to Chanelle - I'm not - but I hope she can get some help with her issues, otherwise she won't ever have a happy relationship," she says. Hmmm... when you start receiving sage advice from Charley, maybe it's time to start worrying...
