Who's Nikki Grahame slating now?

Never one to shy away from a fight, Nik's used her magazine column to take a swipe at fellow BB blondie Chanelle.

She says she's been spending quality time with Ziggy since he dumped the Posh lookey-likey earlier this month.

And Nikki has little sympathy for poor old Chan.

She says: "I don't know how Ziggy coped in the relationship... everything he's said about Chanelle is true.

"He sounds relieved that the relationship is over and I think he just needs to play the field a bit now".

We wait with baited breath for Chanelle's response to that one.

Niki is my fav housemate ever but she said she hated ziggy when he first went in the house. I say very two-faced especially to chanelle. She hates Chanelle cause she thinks she copied her.

the media is twisting things, nikki never said what they claim, here is her original ok column.

CHANELLE & ZIGGY SPLIT
I was shocked to read about Ziggy and Chanelle's split.

I don't know how Ziggy coped in the relationship. I spoke to him the other day and ....."he said everything he's said about Chanelle is true".

He sounds relieved that the relationship is over and I think he just needs to play the field a bit now.

I went for dinner with him and friends last week, which was fun.

No one really knows what goes on behind closed doors, but I hope Ziggy and Chanelle will both be happier apart.

plus nikki did change her opinion about ziggy in the 6th week, and they sorted out their differences in hells ktchen.

She said Ziggy said it's true, merely reported what he said, and also didn't side with anyone, just wished them both to be happy.

Ziggy was well aware. They had a run-in at Hells Kitchen and sorted out their differences after that.

Although it's worth pointing out that Nikki did apologise for what she said about him in her BB column a few weeks after she said it.

Thanks, but they wriiten totally different to what Nikki wrote in her ok column.

I don't think they twisted things and just sensationalised things. The Celebrity gossip rags do the same thing. :thumbs:

Poor reporting..and a misquote

They left the middle bit out.

"No one really knows what goes on behind closed doors, but I hope Ziggy and Chanelle will both be happier apart."

and didn't include the last line above. The media always seems to do this to Nikki, printing something which isn't true, I already knew what Nikki said about relationship before they printed the showbiz article, intentionally misquoting her, she neither sided or slagged Chanelle off.

They left bits out of the quote to make the story look bigger than it was. It's how they work.

For once I agree with Nikki, a rare thing I know, but like Nikki I don't know how Ziggy managed to cope with the girl. She clearly has issues that need resolving.

I don't think the press were getting at Nikki. The target seems to be Chanelle. Yes there is a bit about Nikki not being able to shy away from a fight but that is what her column is about to some extent. There nothing shocking in that statement.

What the press have done here is to selectively quote Nikki and blow the story up.

Ever been to a film, the theatre, or looked at the comments on the back of a book sleeve. They all splash selective quotes over the cover or print them on the posters. Things like "excellent - New York Times", "Terrific - Boston Globe" or for a film "Actor X is the best actor of our time - Sunday Times". It is only when you read the Sunday Times review that you find out that what the article really said is that "Actor X s the best actor of our time but in his role in film y fails to deliver, and is weak and ineffectual."

It called selective quoting and it might be wrong but it happens all the time. In the case of the Sky article they have sensationalised things but in general have gone along with the sprit of the original article.

I don't Nikki has any thing to worry about because of what Sky said.
