Crucial game tonight at Wembley against the Croatians, we only need a draw to qualify but will we do it?

The starting line-up for tonight is meant to be:

Carson

Richards,Campbell,Lescott,Bridge.

Wright Phillips,Gerrard,Barry,Lampard,Joe Cole

Crouch.

They should do in theory but in practice it will all be too much for them and they will either lose tonight's game or draw and come second in the group.

Like Red said, in theory yes..... but anything is possible and they havent been playing too well recently.

well its not they are worthy i think everybody is worth a chance i just didnt think he would have put carson in goals on such an important match even if he dropped robinson i thought he would have chosen james to start i am just worrried about his unexperience thats all and also if he makes amistake which costs us qualifying but hopefully he wont and maybe i am being too negative on him

I don't think they will qualify, i'm not bothered if they do or don't qualify because I don't support England.

We're out. Never in my lifetime (when I've paid attention that is) have England not qualified for a major football tournament.

This has got to be one of, if not the lowest point in the history of English national team.I just cannot believe there's going to a major tournament without us, it's just going to feel so odd watching it next summer without a team to support.

It was a total joke of a performance, too many players really let themselves down and they have let all the supporters down.I just cannot believe some of the abject displays from the players, so long taken getting the ball back into play.

We were given a lifeline and only needed a draw but we couldn't even muster that.I'm still in a stake of bewilderment.

Do the honourable thing Mr.McClaren and just quit.

Sacking people doesn't help..... what needs to happen is for England to rebuild a side that actually believes in itself.

Well the side's not been too much different from the one Sven had, we always sailed through qualifying under his management.

They need a manager to get the players playing together as a team.McClaren played a formation that didn't work tonight.

I don't think we qualified for world cup 1994, that was the last time.

We need a decent manager, and a decent goalkeeper (rob green would be good to try out).

no that was the last time mark i agree

Maybe that side is getting old and we need new blood. Why not sack the players they lost the game?

What ever the manager said during the break worked. They left the field with there heads held low at half time and they came out and turned the game around and scored 2 goals.

The problem lies with the Premiership that is full of overseas players so our home grown talent never gets to develop.
