Big Brother winner dives with sharks to raise awareness for Ella and Sam
Nov 24 2007 by Vicky Anderson, Liverpool Daily Post
BROTHER and sister Ella and Sam Wright watch in awe as tiger sharks circle overhead.
The children, from Southport, have a rare immune deficiency and are in desperate need of a bone marrow donor, but so far international searches have proved unsuccessful.
Original Big Brother winner Craig Phillips took to the waters of the Blue Planet aquarium to swim with the sharks in a charity event to raise awareness of the Anthony Nolan Trust bone marrow register to enlist more young men to sign up during Anthony Nolan Week.
A new viral email campaign, www.ilovemarrow.com, has also been launched to attract men aged between 18 to 25 to get involved.
