X FACTOR girl group Hope plan to Spice up their next performance by singing Two Become One on Saturday.
After finishing in the bottom two last week the wannabes are now desperate to pull in more votes and want to capitalise on the Spice Girls’ renewed popularity.
An insider said: “Hope have a massive publicity plan up their sleeve. They are desperate not to be in the bottom two again. By singing a Spice Girls song they think they will get more votes.”
But the public vote isn’t the only obstacle the girls face - X Factor judge Louis is desperate to boot the girls out of the competition.
Our insider added: “Louis is furious that Sharon sent his girl Beverley home because he thought he could count on her support. Now he’s gunning for Hope.”
Their performance was ripped apart by the judges last week.
The group sang Christina Aguilera’s Hurt - but only Phoebe sang lead.
However, the Spice Girls number gives all the girls a chance to show off their individual vocal skills.
The insider continued: “They’ll all be singing lead this week. A Spice Girls song is perfect for them. Let’s face it, it’s not challenging.”
Knuckle
After finding their position in the competition at risk, Hope’s mentor Simon has ordered them to ditch the diva behaviour and knuckle down to some hard work.
Our insider added: “Last week the girls were terrible. They made a fuss about their clothes and their song. This week they are doing as they’re told - and trusting the real professionals.”
