Fearne's fave to win is LeonFEARNE Cotton has revealed her favourite to win this year’s X Factor is Leon.
The presenter, who fronts ITV2’s Xtra Factor, also admitted that she once blagged it on Big Brother’s Little Brother, just so she could hang out with Dermot O’Leary.
Fearne told Star magazine: I really like Leon [Jackson] because he gets really nervous and I like that you get to see his vulnerability.
"I think Rhydian is great, too. Careerwise he could be really successful and at this point I would put my money on him."
Asked about new X Factor presenter Dermot, she said: I bloody love the boy. I once went on Big Brother's Little Brother without even having seen Big Brother because I just wanted to go and hang out with him.
"He asked me a load of questions and I literally blagged the whole thing didn't know what I was talking about. He's given The X Factor his own touch. He's perfect for it."
Fearne also revealed that she's never been in Simon Cowell's bad books, so she played a prank on him that he’s never recovered from.
She said: "The other week I pushed it a bit too far. Simon does this thing of asking himself a question and then answering it! He says ‘Are you good enough to get to the final? ...Yes’
"So I cut together a video of all those and played it to him and he seemed genuinely upset. Now he's paranoid about doing it. He's a great guy but he brings out the devil in me!"
Fearne has teamed up with her pal Holly Willoughby to present a new version of Davina McCall’s Streetmate.
But she said, despite their best efforts, they could never replace the original matchmaking queen.
"Well, I could never compete with Davina: she is the queen of matchmaking. When I was single a while back she was trying to set me up with every Tom, Dick and Harry she could get her hands on.
"One time we went for dinner and this bloke came and sat next to me and she was at the other side of me pushing my chair towards him!"
