So later tonight, we'll see 2 performances each from Leon, Rhydian, Same Difference, Hope and Niki.

Hope are performing the Spice Girls' "2 Become 1" and Queen's "We Will Rock You".

Niki is performing Bonnie Tyler's "Total Eclipse of the Heart" and Sting/Eva Cassidy's "Fields of Gold".

Same Difference are performing WHAM's "Wake Me Up (Before You Go-Go) and "Any Dream Will Do", from the Joseph musical.

Rhydian is performing Queen's "Somebody to Love" and a medley of patriotic songs "I Vow To Thee, My Country" and "World In Union".

and Leon is performing The Beatles' "The Long And Winding Road" and Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love".

Hope were good, but before Simon said it, I was saying that it wasn't good enough for an act that have been in the bottom two the past two weeks - they needed to pull out something special.

I have no doubt their second will be amazing, otherwise Simon would have said the first isn't good enough.

Niki was okay, she was off time at the beginning and I just get the feeling she's not good enough. She can't seem to impress me the way the other acts (bar Leon) can.

The things Louis says sometimes annoy me, and he was a bit mean to say something like that to Dannii publicly - after all, at least she said good stuff about Niki's performance tonight. And she isn't a contestant, so comments about her abilities aren't necessary.

However, I don't really like Dannii at all, and she certainly can't sing! So I don't know what she was on about saying Niki sang out of tune last week.

Anyway, her and Rhydian were fantastic tonight. They really sang with all their hearts. Hope seemed to be trying so hard, but I just don't think they're as good as when they started - strangely enough. Although they sang as a group, Racquelle in particular seemed quite shaky! I found it shocking that even Simon as their mentor said what he did - but he was being honest. Let's see if their second performance is good.

Far too much cheese, and they still scare me a little. However, I did actually quite like them. They've been growing on me as the weeks have gone by. And, if you remove all the gimmicks - they're actually pretty good singers! I really hope that if they get through they step it up a notch next week and sing something a bit more serious... even though that's not what they're like generally, it shows variation.

Not to mention, I think it could work for them. They've got the voices.

I didn't notice him say it all that much - he mentioned having family in Ireland, being proud to be British etc. It's a tough one right now because everyone wants to get through so much, that every little thing is picked on.

Anyway, my favourites tonight were Rhydian and Niki. I did think SD proved to have good voices, but all the gimmicks just aren't going to work in their favour. And that's simply because it's something not everyone can relate to or like.

Exactly, Hope didn't seem upset at all because they knew they were going - but I think they're going to sell more records than any of the final four. Did anyone else get the impression Simon is going to sign them up?
