Three of the girls, mentored by Billy, will reach the live stages, but it's up to the forum's votes to decide which three.

Here's a quick recap of the eight contenders...

Roberta (series 1)
Roberta seemed to have it all, but ended up as the first person to ever be eliminated from the X Factor live stages!

Cassie (series 1)
A fan favourite, Cassie managed to get fifth, before being voted out against fellow 16 - 24, Tabby.

Chenai (series 2)
The only girl of series 2, Chenai came back from being booted out at boot camp the previous year, but was voted out in Week Four.

Nikitta (series 3)
Nikitta started off very popular, but "Last Dance" turned out to be quite true, when she came seventh.

Leona (series 3)
After amazing performances, Leona was crowned the winner of The X Factor 3, and is currently number one in the charts.

Kimberley (series 4)
Many considered it a shock when Kimberley was voted out in the first week of Series 4, after singing "It's Raining Men".

Emily (series 4)
The youngest live show contestant ever was forced to withdraw when some videos of her happy slapping someone were made public...

Alisha (series 4)
The last of the girls battled her way to seventh place, losing out in Disco Week after the roller skater incident...

In series 2, there weren't Boys and Girls catergories, it was just 16 - 24s. Since men do better than women generally, Louis decided to split it 3 men, 1 woman.
