He is. He constantly whines about everything, he's petty and ridiculous. I'm beginning to wish Simon hadn't "rehired" him. I mean, especially this Saturday, he was beyond belief. "Girls I can't judge you, Beverley should be here and not you."

Louis, they are here, give an opinion then **** and don't talk over Simon - who gives actual opinions.

Though he's right about Same Difference.

Louis is the geeky unappreciated type who may have been bullied at school.

Simon is the assertive, confident type who would have intimidated Louis, as well as make Louis want to be like him.

Louis is now older, and a little famous, so he's gained enough confidence to talk back.

So now he spends all his moments constantly having a go at Simon, and unleashing his years upon years of built up frustration on Simon in a desperate bid for revenge.

Louis bares a grudge against all the times Simon has talked down to him/made Louis look less intelligent/proved a point against Louis etc etc, and lives to say whatever he can to somehow bring Simon down to his level.

Seriously, just watch Louis over the entire series and notice his constant references to Simon and how he tries to belittle him in a petty like manner.

Then he'll also decide to insult other people in order to win Simons respect, when that happens Louis and Simon usually laugh together and Louis looks really happy he's gained Simons positive attention.

It doesn't take a psychologist to notice these things, he's incredibly see through.

I don't think he's a miserable, old man; no.

I also disagree when people say his music taste is dated - he's managed Girls Aloud very successfully for five years (they're currently number three in the charts and haven't released a record that didn't make the top ten), he's mentored acts such as G4, Shayne Ward and Eton Road very well throughout The X Factor and isn't shy about voicing his opinions on Same Difference being a novelty act.

I really like Louis and think he's put some fantastic artists into the live rounds before now - he's never been short of an act during the top four and has won the show as a mentor once before.

I realise this isn't very relevent, but I'm basically trying to say Louis isn't a miserable old man.

I don't think he's miserable but he's pretty damn annoying.

I hate to admit that he makes me laugh sometimes!

He's been making laugh more and more this series.I wouldn't say he's exactly miserable. He's just become very petty and that makes him resort to all these bitchy little remarks he keeps making towards Simon and Danni on the whole.

I find a bit daft of Simon to keep saying that Louis is a miserable old man, just because he doesn't enjoy the performances from Same Difference.Who can blame him really?

I think that Retroman summed it all up for me. Louise seems desperate for either a) Simons approval or b) to get one over on Simon. All makes for a very bitter man.

I think Louis should stick to making his feedback to contestants about them and not about past acts or judges, he kind of negates his own opinion by coming across as being so bitter.

Yes he is. He seems to only be looking for a certain type of act that is young and good looking; remember his horror when he found out he was mentoring the over 25's. He's totally clueless when to come to mentoring his acts- he's given Nikki terrible songs to sing. He has a bee in his bonnet about certain things that don't seem to go away; remeber all thye garbage he spouted about Eton Road last year. Simon was right to sack him, hopefully he'll finally get rid of him next year.

It makes me wonder if Niki had been in the bottom 2, would he have said the same thing?

I was quite annoyed with Simon when he got rid of Louis and Kate but was happy(ish) when he brought Louis back. But now I really despise the little old man  I hope Simon sacks him again and the show comes back next year with just Dannii, Sharon and Simon and returning to the old format.

I also don't agree with his treatment of Niki. Simon knew she was the winner in bootcamp and Simon knew exactly what to do with her but Louis has gone and messed it up for her.

I voted yes, but I'll forgive him if he signs Hope, which he's been rumoured to do...

Looking back on it, he really had it on him on Saturday. He made that catty comment about Danni singing in tune, he told Hope that he cant judge them because they should have gone last week and there was the constant, now tedious and boring, arguments with Simon. He's losing it. I hope Simon can get rid of him next year.
