View Full Version : Jeff to join Jade in the Back to Reality mansion

Jade's boyfriend Jeff is going into the mansion for a day. The others aren't happy. They're saying it will give Jade an advantage because the camera will be on her all the time.

Ricardo's threatening to walk. Again.

It's not for a day it's for the rest of the show that is what they are complaining about.

Ah, I see I thought Richard and Tess said earlier it was for a day.

Craig's saying he might go now.

This is very much turning into another big argument with Jade, Craig and Rik  I really am getting bored with there we won't get as much press coverage and you will  I thought they were in there to win money for a charity!

Couldnt sleep last night, so for the first time actually watched more than five minutes of this. The producers seems to be trying anything to get the ratings up.

It seems that James, Craig and Ricardo may all leave.

Can quite see their point, why should Jade have her partner in there????

All Jade could say was that Jeff has been on two reality shows (Survivor and Celebrity Wife Swap), but then Maureen's husband was on Driving School and Lizzie's husband was on Wife Swap and yest I know Lizzie has let, but its the principle.

They seem to be doing all they can to make sure that Jade wins - I just hope it backfires. She didnt do herself any good because all she could say was that "She doesnt need Jeff to win, she can get media coverage all by herself" or words to that effect. That girl really is up herself. I would love to see her voted out.

But then you could say what a hypocrite I am because if Helen was in there and they brought Paul in, I would be completely overjoyed :blush::blush::blush:

Poor Amy, still hasn't met, or touched Dermot.......

Did I mention that I had done both......??
Perhaps I might have!

I must admit I think it's a bit rich putting Jeff into this house as well.

The other part of me was thinking, if only Helen had been in there, perhaps, just perhaps Mr Clarke would have been the one to go in........

Please don't wake me, please don't shake me, leave me where I am, I'm only sleeping ........ and dreaming!

Ok, the last time I saw this Craig had spoken to one of the producers and his manager and was a lot happier! I don't know what else has happened since then but it's kept me watching it

The show's producers have relented and now Jeff is just going in for a day rather than the remainder of the show plus the others were told that they could nominate someone in their own family to come in for a day but none of them took up the offer.

I quite like Jeff but he did sound like he was interviewing them in there!

Housemate power strikes a blow for fairness. The producers must have been really worried at the thought of three of the housemates at least walking.

I'm still dreaming of what would have happened if Helen had been in there and had a visit from Paul - I'm off in my little fantasy world once again.

Anyway be interesting to see who goes tonight.

In this reality show you vote for your favourite rather than who you want out but on this morning's live show 9:30-10am they had under the text message strap line a line saying "vote for who you want to send back to reality" and giving the number.

Apparently later after some enquiries Five said that this was an error but a conspiracy theorist might think that they were trying to fool people who wanted Jade out to vote for her as their favourite.

They soooooooooooooo want Jade to win this show! All the footage tonight making her look like she was the one who was being bullied http://www.my-smileys.de/smileys_1/dream.gif please!!! They are making Craig look bad for having a different opinion to the others as Jade does ALL the time but that is not highlighted even when she slagged Rik off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( sorry rant over )

James
26-02-2004, 10:31 PM
Jade wins both ways. If others complain about Jeff being in the house she can make out she is being bullied and win the sympathy vote.

Even if he was accepted by the others the camera would be on Jade and Jeff all the time because the producers know the public are interested in seeing how a couple act in there.

I thought it was funny last night Jade trying to make out she doesn't like publicity, her name in magazines and picture up on posters. Saying she's just in it for the charity.

I agree Amy I'm glad you did the rant it saved me doing it lol:thumbs::laugh::thumbs:

I think they should have just kept on about how unfair it was instead of threatening to walk though,I think it made them look daft when they didn't.
all the way through though its all been about Jade and how much she's missing home,If she couldn't cope she shouldn't have signed up for it.I don't think I could leave my baby for 3 nights never mind 3 weeks:nono: I think I would have had more respect if it had been the baby going in to see her,the others all have family/partners they are missing

Much as I like Craig, I think he made himself look bad. Rather petulant I thought, trying to do a reprise of his 'confront Nick' role which won BB1 for him.

Even then he wasn't the first to confront Nick. As I remember Anna, Darren and Tom had as much to do with that. By the time Craig accosted him, they had all had a go, an I think it went on a bit too long.
After all, Adele and Jade were at least as bad as Nick in the slagging off stakes!

That being said, it isn't appropriate to bring in the partner of one housemate. Silly.

She will of course win.

By the way, who the hell is it that is voting for Rik to stay in?:conf:

I would so like to hear what the evicted housemates have to say now they have had a chance to find out what people really think of the programme. Even Tess and Richard are having to defend the programme when they do the eviction interviews saying that it isnt a foregone conclusion.

It really is getting to be the Jade Goody programme. I thought Jade had actually started to grow up, but she behaved like a spoilt kid - Jade being bullied come off it! Crying that she wanted to go home, why didnt she? That poor Bobby being pushed from pillar to post - how could she leave him for three weeks?

I did agree with Craig though when he said that Jade believes the hype about herself. She sought the publicity and got as much money as she could. Hasnt she heard of the word 'No' which she could always use.

And lets face it charity my **** - they are all in it to boost their publicity appeal and hope to earn money when they come out.

This is getting to be a bit of a "have a good rant and get it off your chest" thread. Like it.

Amy,It was mostly full of the Jade & Jeff argument except they didn't show Jeff being really sarcastic just James and Craig moaning:devil::devil:
nobody was evicted they are not getting rid of anyone until monday. There is a terrible atmosphere in the mansion.
To give Jade just a bit more attention Jeff will be interviewed later at 11pm.
Most of tonights show was people in moods and Jade still moaning.
Josie and Craig have been given a task to stay in a glass box in the sky(like David Blaine),they had their backs to each other and then Josie was shown pics of different reality tv stars and had to describe them to Craig who had to then name them.He got 4 correct answers but they have offered them more money if they stay in the box all night.
So Josie and Craig are in the box and the others get to have a barbeque:thumbs:
Hope this helps:thumbs:
Not much happening really with no eviction:thumbs:

They started the show with a barefaced lie told by Tess and Richard.

They said the other guests had been offered the chance to invite someone into the mansion but they all declined apart from Jade. We know this is false.

C5 totally undermined Craig and James by making this out.

Jeff came in all cocky and Craig and James said they were being patronised by his attitude. They showed a drinking game initiated by Jeff where he was getting Craig and James to say what they really thought about him. After they left Craig and James said he was asking them leading questions.

Jeff and Jade got really nasty about Craig and James after that but they didn't show much of it. I watched some of it last night and couldn't keep watching.

Josie was saying that she didn't like the side of Craig and James she had seen. And James said he might leave the house because of what happened.

Oh, and they didn't have an eviction tonight. Would it be too cynical to suggest that Jade was in the bottom 2 of the votes (with say Josie), and that might have led to Jade being evicted?

Also it was Channel 5's original plan to have Jeff in the house for the time left in the show as this webpage says.

Jeff joins the mansion - Day 11 12:00

In a shock twist Celebrity Wife Swap star Jeff Brazier is to join the mansion tomorrow as a new resident where he will be competing directly with his girlfriend, and the mother of their baby (Bobby-Jack), Jade Goody for the public vote.

The arrival of former Leyton Orient player, and star of the C4 reality series Shipwrecked will come as a complete surprise to the other contestants.

Last week Jungle Queen Kerry McFadden asked if Jade was planning to marry her boyfriend. The former Big Brother star replied: "I don't know think I might be too much for him to handle."

This show just gets worse and worse and worse :nono: What are channel 5 playing at?? :nono:
I noticed that when Craig got back the other day from talking to one of the producers they had told him that the show was doing really well and that Jade was the one making herself look bad hmmmmmmmmmmmm another lie from them :nono:

Thanks for this James

The other housemates were given the option to bring a person in for a day, but they all declined. Which is when Jade said how ironic they complain she has someone, but the moment they get the chance they all say no.

My view on James and Craig is going down.. I think they are acting really petty... but thats probably because I like Jade and Jeff

I thought the producers only asked the other guests after they found out that Jeff was going in?
I like Jeff, although he sounded more like an interviewer yesterday!

Yep, Jeff was ready to enter the mansion and only then did they ask the others if they wanted to invite someone to which they declined.

The point the others were making about it giving Jade an advantage was a fair one. Jeff still entered the house. And Ricardo had said that he would have liked someone he knew to come in.

The only thing that Craig or James can be accused of is that they might let down their charitys if they left. But the whole charity aspect of this show is a bit of a con really - like I'm a Celeb - and exists to give it an air of altruism where one doesn't exist. For the people in the mansion - with a few exceptions maybe - it's all about raising their own profile.

The best thing that can be said about Jade is the producers have allowed her to play the game very well. And I guess it is a game at the end of the day, just not a very fair one.

I don't know if I can bear to watch the 11:00 pm show. Biased presenters interviewing a biased interviewee.
