Anybody Else From Scotland Starting/ed Their Prelims?

What's a prelim?

Like an exam so that if you dont do too well in your actual exams you can appeal

No, out final exams are in may these are so to speak like try outs to see how we handle under exam conditions and we can appeal with them if we do really badly in our actual exam which are in may. We can use them as appeals to show (if we pass) that we are capable

Nope, there like you tkae these, and these determine what classes you into in 5th year (which is 6th form in England I thinkbut im probly wrong), and then if you fail your real ones, you an appeal yto get a better grade.

I am was soo nervous aswell and i still am but i have chemistry on thursday and i cant do it so i am not studying

Prelims = mocks.

Mine start in January/February, though only because our school's private and likes to do things their own way. Don't worry about it too much Billy, even if they don't go as well as you'd hoped for, you have all the time between now and the finals to revise for. You most likely won't need to rely on them if you put in the work between now and the finals!

Oh Prelims are Mocks, i'm doing mine this week, i'm finished tomorrow.
