You shouldn't speak too soon.
The day I broke my arm, I had earlier said "I've never broken a bone in my body."
Broken left shoulder after I fell down a flight of stairs [thats what you get for looking through a telescope and twirling around]. Completely knocked off my equilibrium. I was dizzy for a few days afterwards.

When I was 14 I was climbing a metal fence into the local cemetary, yep those ones with spikes on the top, I slipped and ended up stuck to the post as it went through my thigh, not pretty I can tell you, and it was the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. Still got a lovely scar that I can tell people is a shark bite though

When I was 11 I had a bicycle accident. I was going down a steep hill, got a speed wobble, started to brake and went over the handle bars, my brother ran over my head and split my face open. I has to have 30 stitches in my face, 15 of which were to connect my lower lip back on. I broke my collar bone and gashed massive holes out of my knees.
You cant see the scars on my face unless you really look hard because I luckily has a great surgeon working on me. But my upper lip is slightly out of shape but you can only notice if I wear lipstick, so I dont wear it. I have some road burns on my hand but they have faded and still have a scar on my left knee.
I have never been on a bike since
1.I broke my nose playing a game
2.I stuck a knife in my leg by an accident
3.I swollowed a 20 cent coin

When I was 7 i nearly lost my arm,i cut it open on a broken padlock on my friends shed which had been broekn into the night before.I was playing hide and seek and went to climb over the fench next to it and ripped my arm open on the padlock.I must have been in so much shock at first that it diddnt hurt and i will never forget seeing a purple vein expose as I said to my friends older brother 'iv cut my arm' cool as a cucumber lol.He then ran into his house as white as a sheat and I was like -what?what did i say lol?
Then the trouble started.

what an accident prone bunch we all are :wavey:
Girth I have had a dislocated Shoulder, fingers, hip etc.. it really hurts. I did not injure them though so a little different, mine is a health issue and I often dislocate things.

I've broke someones wrist, yesterday we were putting tramploines down and when you fold it over, i kinda let go and it broke his wrist. Hes in hospital.. feel so guilty.
Where to start!
When I was about 6 my next door neighbour hit me over the head with a lead pipe by accident, split my head open and left a tiny scar.
Broke my wrist 3 summers in a row.First one was when I was messing around on my bike, I built a ramp out of some old bits of wood and I approached it at the wrong angle and went flying and landed on the pavement.Year later I was a bit tipsy and stood on a chair on unbalanced paving slabs, started lobbing berries at my mum's window and lost my balance and fell straight down on the patio and broke my wrist in 2 places.Year later and my wrist was already sore from landing badly after an awful tackle in football and then a few days later at sports day, was taking part in the relay and as soon as the baton was passed to me, I was tripped and pushed and landed on my wrist.I got up and finished the race despite their being no point lol.
Worst though was probably when I was about 9.It was during the winter and we were allowed at lunchtimes to go and play football up the local park.As I was running with the ball, a player from the other side pushed me head first into a sea-saw.I was knocked out for about a minute, got up and tried carrying on with the game but a dinner lady rushed over and took me away.I looked down at my jumper and saw it covered in blood :yuk:.I ended up being taken to hospital and having stitches.I had a concussion for over a week.I've still got a scar.

I split my head open when I was a kid too. I've still got a small scar.
Well I've had a few things but my main ones are when I got ran over at the age of six and ended up with a scar on the back of my head lol then about two years ago I fell down my sisters stairs holding my nephew ronan and sprained my ankle ooh and that blooming hurt plus at 11 years old i lost my temper with these young kids by throwing an old broking bathroom sink at them but i've got a right bad scar all the way down my large finger lol:hug:

When I was abroad, I somehow managed to electrocute myself with a hairdryer (this was around 3-3 and a half years ago). Shortly afterwards I passed out, and woke up from the floor I don't know how long later (parents were asleep, so it could have been minutes, or even hours!).
After getting up, I was a little puzzled, and then realised I was bleeding loads from my mouth/chin and was too scared to look in the mirror so went straight to my parents. I cut my chin pretty badly, so got that stitched straightaway (got a tiny scar now). We then came back to England shortly afterwards. I had also managed to fracture my jaw bone (which is now OK) as well as mess my teeth up, for which I needed to get braces. I don't have braces anymore though. Thinking back, it was all quite scary!

Well two weeks ago I went ice-skating, I am awful at it but I was finally getting it and was going round pretty fast then I fell, on my arm and all the helpers were like "Are you going to get up or what?" lol I replied back saying "I can't" then I had to see this first aid person and she said if it still hurt I should go to A & E in the morning. So I went to bed I think I was in so much pain it made me get to sleep, it was the best sleep I had in ages lol how odd
Anyway went to A and E the next day and they told me I had broken my wrist so I sit here now with a cast on my arm it's coming off in a weeks time hopefully.

I thought I was accident prone untill I read this. I've not had anything major really, had a really, hugely fat ankle after jumping down some steps and landed bad, I sprained it but I got to play on crutchers for a fortnight.

Now was that at the wonderful Whitley Bay ice rink or at the temp rink at the centre for life? Whitley bay is a baaaaddd place to skate for people who are not confident skaters, it has holes, bumps and lumps all over!!!!!

Mine's quite tame really, but during cross-country about 3 or 4 years ago, I was running along this concrete knobbly path in football boots (it's ridiculous, but you have to do it).
Needless to say, I fell over and my knee had a gash about 1 inch deep. Needed several stitches.

I have crashed my car, colliding with a 40ft petrol tanker. Lol. He decided to turn right, when coming in the opposite direction, and did not bother waiting for me to go through the lights. It was wet too. Luckily, nobody was hurt. I got a new car out of it!

I've never broken any bones, but I sprained my ankle badly when I fell downstairs once when I was 14, I was in agony but was in the middle of my SATs and still had to go to school!
Also, when I was little I used to have a habit of falling over whenever I'd got new shoes. Once I'd tripped over an uneven paving stone and had cuts everywhere, as well as knocked my 2 front teeth (baby teeth) out and was bleeding. My brother's always been squeamish when it came to blood and my Mum didn't know who to sort out first!

I broke my left hand, I fell from a ladder, my hand went funny shaped, but I didn't cry.
I suppose the worst thing that happened to me was that I nearly died when I was born because the umbilical cord strangled me because I came out arkward and I stopped breathing. But obviously I can't remember that.
Other than that, I guess I've been pretty lucky. Never had an operation, and the only time I've been to hospital was when I split my head open. There was loads of blood but luckily I didn't need stitches.

Well, when i was about nine i was at school i was playing tag or sumthing and slipped over and banged my right knee on the ground, i thought nuthing of it so kept on playing. Then when i was waiting to go home i noticed my knee cap around was swelling up and i started to poke it, thinking that it was funny. My mum saw it and then took me to the hospital, on the way my knee cap started to move, and it moved all the way to the side. I was in a cast for about 2 weeks. I realised that i had fallen on grass that had concrete slabs underneath.

When i was about 10, me and my friends made a seesaw with a plank of scoffolding wood and a wall. There was about 4 of us on each end and my finger got jammed between the plank of wood and the wall, and instead of waiting for the wood to raise, i pulled my hand away and the tip of my finger got chopped off and my bone was visible!!! OUCH..
I hade my apendix took out it was perferated and green.:yuk:
