last weekend that Crawford/Gamboa fight is FOTY candidate easily. great fight and was glad to see a big event out there in Omaha. first time since Frazier defended his title there in '72. really hope Crawford can have a great career.

Kell Brook v Shawn Porter for the IBF welterweight title tonight
Khan vs Alexander tonight, gonna set the alarm for about 4.30ish I think. Good to see a fight on Sky sports after making people pay for that Cleverly vs Bellew rubbish
Still doubt Floyd agrees to a fight with Khan even if he wins tonight
Great performance from Khan, bring on that chump Floyd

Great performance from Khan, bring on that chump Floyd
I've grown sick of arguing with idiots on the internet because I have stated for a long time, that Pretty Boy Floyd is avoiding the only 2 men equipped to beat him - Manny and Amir.
Amir's just schooled Alexander as surely as Calzaghe schooled Jeff Lacy, and now 'Money' might just decide to retire - probably through some trumped up injury - rather than have his ass whupped by Amir or Manny, and 'Money' is rapidly running out of excuses and losing face with the boxing public -- who are beginning to see through his excuses.
As a footnote, I love Kell Brook, but I don't think Kell could beat Amir.

What a pathetic excuse of a post. You know doubt thought you would get away with this knowing the lack of boxing knowledge on this board but you didn't account for me reading this
However the media etc like to potray it the Manny-Floyd fight was all good to go back in 09 ring size purse etc had been agreed until Manny bailed on negotiations as he is "SCARED OF NEEDLES" (HIS WORDS NOT MINE) even though he has tattoo's on his body
Again the fight was looking good to go back in 2013 just before Floyd went prison. Both had expressed the want of the fight and all was sounding good until Floyd got his prison sentence postponed and Arum said Manny needed 8 months to recover from a cut he received in the Marquez fight and that they needed to build and all purpose stadium for the fight. Which is still yet to be built
And then again this year Manny told the world he fights for pride and that he would fight Floyd for FREE if needs must. Than to turn down 40mil to fight him(career high payday) and fight for not even a quarter of that in his next fight
As for Khan that does not even earn a response
You obviously don't follow boxing very closely so please keep stupid posts like the above to yourself please

I've boxed since I was 8 years old and followed boxing from the same age, so that's one point you're wrong on.
As for; "you didn't account for me reading this" -- LMFAO - Who are you? Listen to yourself.
And my post is not stupid - it's my opinion, which is as valid on here as yours, and very probably more qualified.
For every point you make in defense of 'Money' there are 20 others condemning him, so your points above are really no more than just your 'say-so' and are not the facts you are making them out to be.
The facts are that Pacman has been calling Mayweather out for 4 years, and it's Floydy Baby who's been silent or putting obstacles in the way of the fight being made.
Even now, it was Manny who called out Floyd last week, then this week 'Money' makes a big show of calling Manny out. But, just look how - once again - he's piling up the obstacles:
He demands a ridiculous 70/30 purse split in his favour.
He demands that Manny wears 10 oz gloves not the usual 8 oz.
He demands a rematch clause at his discretion only.
Sorry buddy - Mayweather's mouth is once again calling out for a fight with Manny but hardly anybody in the boxing world now believes him. We've heard it all before.
But seeing as you are a self appointed expert on all matters boxing, I don't expect you to take just my word for it - so how about just some of the 100's of experts who think my way?

Stopped reading when you quoted Skip LOL Bayless
The facts are simple however the media and fanbases want to spin it. The closest this fight came to happening was in 09.
Floyd agreed to ALL OF PAC'S demands regarding gloves purse etc and Pac walked away from talks due to having a "FEAR OF NEEDLES" and that taking a teaspoon of blood 48 hours before fight night would leave him unable to fight looool
Aside from that embarrassment Arum and Pac have hit us with the now legendary
Need to build a purpose built stadium in Texas (STILL WAITING(
Pace needed 8 months to recover from a minor cut yet made a miraculous comeback to fight within that time when Floyd went to jail
And now Arum when things look good to go has hit us with his newest excuse (fighting on May 2nd is disrespectful) lol even though Pac has thought both Hatton and Mosely on this date
Now face the facts or continue to show yourself to be a silly little Pactard

Anyone watch the Fury/Wilder fight? Great fight Fury probably should have won (eventhough i hate him) but at the same time that count for Fury in the last round was slooooow he must have got 20 seconds there but how did he get back up?? He was actually properly knocked out
Fury was robbed and there's apparently gonna be an enquiry.
Everyone watching gave Fury the first five rounds including Mayweather, Andre Ward and Abel Sanchez ( GGG's coach ) yet the dodgy judge from Mexico gave Wilder the first 5 rounds !!
No wonder the announcer handed the scorecards back to be rechecked !!

Round 6 a error low blow
Stopped Amir Khan from carrying on.
Reports say Terrance Crawford
was way ahead on points ,at that point.

This coming weekend, Hull's Golden boy "Cool hand" Luke Campbell is fighting for the World title. Apparently his opponent is said to be pretty good, Lomachenko, they call him. He'll meet his match when he faces Campbell.
Come on Lukey boy, bring that World title home to Hull.
Campbell is 8/1 Lomachenko is 1/14
Lomachenko is rated the best boxer on the planet.
The boy from Hull is gonna shock the World

I’ll be shocked if he manages to even hit Loma :)

Quite right .. Crawford was well on top but Khan was showing a bit of resistance and promise when Crawford decided to hit him low .
That’s the equivalent of a professional foul in footie to my mind .

Weigh in on now
Come on Luke boy
Tonight is the night
Luke is gonna shock the World.
The commentators are likening Lomachenko to Ali and Mayweather. This will be the biggest British boxing upset in history if Luke wins.
Luke is on his way to the ring.
Let's get it on!
Lomachenko on his way to the ring.
Under way
Come on!! "Cool Hand" Luke
We are Hull
First round for Campbell for me.
Lomochenko takes round 2, but another tight round.
3rd round another tight one, I'll give it to Lomachenko.
Another tight round, I'll give it to Lomachenko.
Another round for Lomachenko. Campbell saved by the bell, he was nearly going.
I'm giving that round to Campbell, great fightback
Lomachenko maybe stole that round, but Campbell hurt him in that round
Another tight round just give to Lomachenko it, but what a fight this is. Campbell having a real dig.
I'll give that round to Campbell
I'll give another tight one to Lomochenko.
2 rounds left. Campbell needs to knock him out.
Big round for Lomachenko, he knocked Campbell down.
Big heart from Campbell for hanging on.
Lomachenko will win on points, but great effort from Campbell. Good fight.
Lomachenko wins on points

Lomachenko is possibly the best boxer I've ever watched though. But well done to Campbell to last the 12 rounds, he's got a lot of heart
Why so quiet in here !?

Yes one was a Title Win.

USA Deontay Wilder wiped out Luis Ortiz
with a monstrous right hand on Saturday night in Las Vegas.
Not too many boxing fans around , I guess ?
