Get a packet of Revels

Find the orange cream one

Slice it open

The colour of the orange cream filling is what I would like for my kitchen.

Can anyone say what colour it is in paint terms.

I would post an image of it, but for the fact my electronic means of recording images distorts the colour. My means of printing even more so.

I Know Dulux offer "Colour matching", but try taking half a revel to B&Q

although I never seem to get many orange ones and they are the nicest:thumbs:I always seem to get loads of coffee ones yuk!:conf:

How about getting a colour chart and matching it from that:hugesmile:

The nearest I seem to get is terracotta from the B&Q paint selector card

The attached image is a composit of a revel in a polythene food bag scanned on my scanner and the relevant tile from the colour chart. I am assuming the colour distortion would be the same for both.

However this paint selector is a bit limited

hmmm yes I see what you mean Sticks I think revels are more of a light peach colour aren't they?
I always end up mixing my own,if you get some white then add a darker shade of colour until you get it just right:thumbs:but make sure you remember how much you put in in case you don't mix enough:thumbs:

I spent most of today on colour cue (paint mixing), it's all right the first few times you mix paint but a cue of 12 people  anyway  I don't think it would scan it even if you took it in, we have a machine at work and although very accurate it can be like most computers a pain in the bottom, it like's most items! I think you may have to resort to checking colour cards! However, you could ring Dulux it sounds silly but they are very good and trust me have heard of more bizarre items to put a colour to they may be able to tell you if it is possible to match the colour!

I have put in an enquiry to Dulux via their website already, and I have still yet to hear from them :conf:

Revels are yucky.

Which of these codes here (http://gotomy.com/color.html) matches the colour?

Be very careful with Terracotta Sticks. It's an incredibly dense colour.

Fine if you are trying to recapture that Italian sun baked afternoon where it can contrast with the azure blue of the sea and sky..........

For the weak filtered light of your average North Eastern day though.............

Please take the half Revel in Sticks - I would love to know the reaction.

They probably could tell a few tales about things that have been taken in to match up anyway.

Although it was people from the church who helped me out with the kitchen

But I did do the bathroom myself, in two tone, with a boarder and all the gloss painting in there

The colours are mint crisp and pale terracotta

We are about to redecorate our bedroom the colour of lemon sherbets - do you think I could take one in for colour matching. LOL.
