what like an ice break question to get a converstation going then i can go about askin for her numebr etc

What i would do is try and get into some sort of conversation with her, then tell her a joke on your phone - if she laughs just drop in that she should give you her number then you can forward them onto her.

Ill try and think of some others just incase you think that is c**p

Thats why you do the phone thing then you can send a few flirty text and see how she responds to that. Then go for it if she flirts back. If not then you dont ask her out and you have not made a fool out of yourself.
