Emmerdale star Roxanne Pallett has collapsed while filming the ITV1 soap.
The 24-year-old, who plays Jo Stiles, was taken to hospital after passing out on set and spent two days undergoing tests before being allowed to return to work.
Pallett insisted that she had merely "fainted", but friends claim that she is struggling to come to terms with the collapse of her relationship with ex-Coronation Street actor Richard Fleeshman, 18. The pair started dating after they appeared on Soapstar Superstar together, but Pallett called time on the two-year romance in October because of their conflicting schedules.
A source told the Daily Star: "'They were such a great couple. But Richard is really driven and is spending all his time on his music. He hardly ever saw Roxy and they were arguing.
"She's putting on a brave face and trying to say it has not affected her but any break-up is bound to leave you super-stressed."
