‘Help us to put Rhydian in the final’CARDIFF nightspot Conti’s is staging an X Factor special tonight in a bid to help send singing sensation Rhydian into next weekend’s TV final.
The café-bar, restaurant and nightclub in Mill Lane is dedicating the night to give the 24-year-old Welshman the best possible chance of getting through tonight’s semi-final.
The whole show will be screened live in Conti’s – with owner Giovanni Malacrino planning to turn the nightspot into a Rhydian stronghold for the evening, encouraging everyone there to vote for him.
Giovanni, a close friend of the singer’s family, said: “It’s going to be a fantastic night and we’ll all be rooting for Rhydian.”
Rhydian is also expected to be in Conti’s next Monday afternoon after his appearance at the Wales Millennium Centre when he will be treated to a meal in the restaurant.
“Rhydian has been a great ambassador for Wales, he’s got a wonderful voice and a fantastic stage presence. He just has to win – and we’re going to help make sure he does,” added Giovanni.
Thanks to Conti’s café-bar, restaurant and club in Mill Lane, Cardiff, we’ve a pair of tickets up for grabs for the final in the ITV studios in London next Saturday.
