Kate is Xpecting a childTV HOST Kate Thornton is expecting her first baby, we can reveal.
The former X Factor host – who was axed from the ITV1 talent-search earlier this year – is four months’ pregnant.
Blonde Kate, 34, is engaged to DJ and record producer Darren Emerson and the couple were planning to tie the knot next year.
But Kate was spotted having a scan at a South London hospital last week – possibly putting plans for her big day on hold.
A source said: “Kate was beaming from ear to ear. But funnily enough, when an X Factor trailer came on the TV in the hospital waiting room, she turned her head away.”
A source said: “Kate and Darren are deliriously happy.
“Kate is due in early summer, so she can fit in a lot of work before then.”
Nabbed
Kate will present new ITV1 show Britain Sings Christmas later this month – where a celebrity choir will warble festive hits.
And she has nabbed one of Sky’s top jobs.
Kate is set to host their Oscars coverage at the annual awards bash in March.
