The contracts Endemol have with the council limit them to 22 Big Brother events per year, 5 of which can be on any other day than a Friday. With the launch on Thursday and final on Sunday, there is 2 of those 5 gone. There are to be 6 evictions not forgetting the BB9 launch not for a Friday, so I don't think we will have an eviction crowd for Celebrity Hijack, but more going down the route of what we had in CBB2.

They may still have an audience for the interviews

There will only be a small studio audience for evictions I believe but the Launch and Finale will have big audiences as usual. This is brilliant news though because I'm sick of the live crowd nowadays, they are so out of touch with the majority of viewers, booing absolutely everyone and spoiling surprises by letting the housemates know they are liked or disliked. So yeah this is great news.

I agree... it will be intresting to see a series without a crowd (if this is the case)

I agree, the crowd do spoil the show a bit by letting the HMs know who is the least popular, which isn't fair. Hopefully by BB9, when they will probably go back to live eviction crowds, they will try to control the crowd more and tell them not to chant and boo.

No. All TV show tickets are free. If an audience is a vital part of a TV show then they don't charge.
