View Full Version : Simon Cowell is one big contradiction

I think so.

He talks about X-factor beeing a talent contest but has NEVER criticised Same Difference's lack of talent. He has the nerve to criticise Daniel and Niki but NEVER criticises Same Difference. He put Hope through over W4 but talks about the 'best voice' winning the show. He seems to want Rhydian to win more than his own act just because of the money he can make.

For me, he's losing credability. What ever happened to Mr Nasty? He seems to want to protect his own interest too much. What do you all think?

He had the nerve to call Nikki a 'caberet singer' but Same Difference get away with cheese on toast every week.

Lol that is true, he does contradict himself at times, but they all do.

Simon Cowell can do what he wants, when he wants, yet he still gives the most valid opinions of the judges. He obviously won't criticise his own acts if he thinks he can make money out of them. He didn't criticise Hope until week 5 onwards. I think he does overlook his own acts, but he's very honest when it comes to everyone else - but so do all of the other judges.

Dannii and Shaorn both admitted when they made mistakes

That's assuming he had any to start with.

I think that if Sharon or Danii had of had SD, he would be criticising them liek he did with the McDonald Brothers but because they are his own act, he doesnt. But I still think he is the most honest. =D

If SD had been in any other category than Simons, they'd be out of the competition by now. Simon still has alot of sway with the viewers and he knows it. HE'd have ripped SD to shreds week after week. If he doesn't like someone then he goes for them with both barrels. I remember in Celebrity X-Factor, he targetted Michelle Marsh from the start. She was a decent sinnger with a bit of potential but Simon repeatedly cut her to ribbons. Not surprisingly she was booted off fairly early. Lucy Benjamin, on the other hand, started off rubbish yet with Simon praising just about every single one of her performances she stayed fairly bad but won.

Michelle was SO good. She was in the bottom two with Lucy and then Simon didnt like her so he voted her off.

Simon's Desert Island Discs...

He doesn't exactly have a very 'recent' taste in music though, does he? Probably explains why these shows have quite a bit of Big Band music in them.
