Yes he deserved it, Rhydian was always gonna do well if he won it or not (i'll look foward to see what he does) but Leon probably wouldn't have done great if he didn't win so it should have been him or Same Difference.

NO Rhydian or SD should have won. Leon has absolutely no charisma and no star quality. I won't be buying his single.

I am really shocked Leon won over SD and Rhydian. The best singer and the best performers didn't win.

On the one hand, I thought throughout the whole competition, both SD and Rhydian have been much more consistant. I also think that Leon is the least likely to sell lots of records in the long run. Even on tonight's performances alone, I'd say SD and Rhydian were better.

But on the other hand, Leon has shown more progress than SD or Rhydian. In the recent weeks in the run up to the final, he has shown improvement. I also thought he sang the winner's single better than Rhydian did.

I didn't really mind who was going to win this year's competition though, so congratulations to Leon and I think any of the three would've made an OK winner.

I thought Rhydian has been the best throughout the show but Leon's improved so I'm fairly happy with him winning.

Yes. Vocally, Rhydian was a lot better but in terms of looks, marketability and career span, Leon wins hands down.

A lot of people probably just voted for Leon to stop Rhydian winning, but they won't buy his records. Rhydian was by far vocally superior over the course of the live shows and delivered some of the most memorable performances of the x-factor ever ( I'll never forget Phantom of the Opera in week 2). So in my opinion Leon did not deserve to win.

Not a chance. The man has a decent voice at best, no charisma and no stage presence. Can anyone remember his dancing?:rolleyes:

He's the new Gareth Gates. I'm going to run a book on how long before his record company drops him.

Leon wins hands down when it comes to looks and career span.I dont agree with you there,imo Rhydian is wayyy better looking but i reliase that the majority of teenage girls will see Leon as the 'fit' one from x factor so im not going to argue with you there.However as for Leons career span i think he could well have been dropped by his record lable this time next year,he so forgettable and predictable and old,he brings nothing new to the table and imo his voice isnt all that an xfactor winners should be so i cant see him sticking around for long.Someone like Rhydian will be able to go on for years and years in the public eye as there will always be new opportunities for him and his fans will be of a much broader age range,one the x factor buzz has died down most of leons fans will be teenage girls who will soon get bored.

Leon's just a good a winner as Shayne Ward was - nobody gave Shayne a chance and he's still going. He'll do alright, I think.

I'm obviously thrilled Rhydian didn't win, but really it was the best result in terms of getting all three of them a career. Same Difference were born for children's entertainment, they do it fantastically and I think children are still going to want to hear from them. Rhydian will sell classical records, regardless, so I think Leon winning did them all a favour, really.
