Is Britney about to marry in Vegas?Britney Spears is set to tie up her 'annus horribilis' by tying the knot in a shock Vegas wedding, US reports claim.
Insiders say the flailing pop tart plans to wed close friend and confident, Sam Lufti, in spite of warnings that a new marriage would cost her the kids all together.
Friends claim the disgraced mother of two has already informed her lawyers and ex-husband Kevin Federline, 29, whom she is currently fighting to see more of the ex-couple's two boys.
Sadly for Brit, she hasn't quite received the congratulations she may have hoped for, with an insider alleging to Star magazine: '[The lawyers] begged her to a least get a prenup, but she didn't seem to be listening.'
Meanwhile, Federline is so angry he wants a restraining order.
A family spy explained: 'Kevin has seen Sam lose his temper'.
'We hear he swears a lot and makes very derogatory statements when he's alone with Brit. '
'Kevin has forbidden Britney from having Sam around the boys. In fact, Kevin has threatened to get a restraining order. She'll lose custody if she allows Sam around them, Kevin will make sure of it' said the snitch.
The 'Piece of Me' singer's friends also have warned that Lufti is a fulltime sponger, with one pouring scorn saying: 'Britney is completely under Sam's spell. Everyone sees through him, except her. I hear that he stays with her most the time, and she pays for his food, his bar and restaurant tabs and clothing. She takes care of everything.'
The Vegas wedding would mean a third marriage for Spears, following her two year marriage to Federline in 2004 and a 55 hour Vegas marriage to Jason Alexander back on January 3 in the same year.
The singer is currently permitted bi-weekly visits with Sean Preston, 2 and one-year-old Jayden James, including one overnight stay.
She is reported to pay Federline 15,000 dollars (£7,166) per month in child support and 20,000 dollars (£9,555) in financial support, as well as purported legal fees totalling 120,000 US dollars (£57,000).
Her record label could not comment on the singer's personal life.
