Victoria Beckham’s fellow Spice Girls are reportedly getting annoyed by the WAG’s behaviour onstage - and their fans’ reaction towards her.
According to the Daily Mail, the crowd went wild with applause whenever Victoria took to the microphone at the O2 Arena in London at the weekend even though she sings the least in the band and has a skit that involves her posing for cameras instead of singing a solo number.
She has also been making subtle costume decisions to distinguish herself from her bandmates, such as wearing higher heels and not wearing her hood up as the rest of the girls do for the encore entrance.
A source told the newspaper: “All of these silly petty things just got on the nerves of the other girls. And to top it off when Victoria kept getting the loudest applause and cheers, it really grated on the others.”
“The fact Posh probably had the least to do but was getting the best reception was a bit disheartening. It all blew up backstage after [the show on Sunday] and there were some very stern words and evil looks exchanged.”
The quintet will perform their third London show this evening before skipping over to Cologne and Madrid, before returning to London for another 14 shows in the new year followed by two Manchester gigs.
