Going away

I will be doing my obligatory visit to my parent's home in Yorkshire tomorrow. The Internet connection down there is uncertain at best, so can not be sure if I will be able to post here over the season that shall not be named.

Just to let you know if I am absent.

also my land line telephone is down and the engineers from Virgin Media are due on 27 December, so I need to hurry back that day from Yorkshire, even though my mother is going in to hospital that day for a knee operation.

I really hate this time of year :sad:
