The Mint said they were coming back this year didn't they?
So perhaps they're replacing it soon.

The Mint being a far better version altogether, so this is good news.

Although to be fair, I only used to watch it back when I was unemployed and able to stay up all morning.

Now im in bed by 10pm, sometimes even 8pm just to rest and watch tele/play PSP until I decide to sleep. So I won't get to see whatever replaces it anyway =[

Oh and P.S Make your play was rubbish, lol.

ITV Play has been axed altogether, The Mint isn't returning. Quizmania might be coming back but not on ITV. ITV are supposed to have some bingo thing replacing it :whistle:

Ah so the "Head of ITV" or whatever his official title is, stuck to his word did he?

I remember him mentioning the removal of the late night quiz shows due to a lack of phone in's and wanting to free up as much room as possible for "better" shows, which was his way of saying "non phone in shows" due to all the scandals lately.

My friends mum rang in once, which was quite funny when I was watching...

I thought to myself "I recognise that voice"
Then the next day at college my friend told me his mum rang in, and I remembered the voice I heard.

Anyhow, the question was "Boys Names?" and she had two names in mind.

She picked one and it was wrong, then later someone said the other name she thought of and won £10,000 >_<

This was back in the day that ITV Play had enough money to throw around.
Nowadays they can barely afford to give out £1000/£500.

Make your play was pretty dreadful, certainly the worst of all those type of shows.I'm surprised that was the last one they kept on.

I think it's obvious that the presenters are what make the shows either interesting or comparable to watching paint dry.The Mint and Quizmania were always pretty good for when you couldn't get off to sleep.Quizmania might be replacing Quiz Call on channel 5.

bring back a program like "the hitman and her" on friday and saturday nights i say. that used to be ace laughing at all the townie scum dancing to cheesy house. for those too young to remember it was a show that used to broadcast from night clubs all over the country, they used to have live (miming) acts and a dance troup who where a total bunch of big headed w@nkers.perfect late night tv.
