Shameless is returning to Channel 4 on New Years Day! :)
Is anyone else a fan of Shameless? I think the show is going down the pan since the exit of Steve, Fiona, Kev and Veronica, but I hope this series picks the show up.

I think it has definately got worse over the series however ratings have continuously increased.

Series 3 was excellent, especially when Kev's wife Roxy came into it, loved that episode! :) Just wish Steve & Fiona would come back.

tonights opening episode was fantastic! Great balance of comedy along with drama moments. Lmao at the pub fight scene and the episode on e4 was just as good. Not going to say much but the banter between ian and mickey maguire was so funny.

Thought it was alright the new set looked brilliant, but I think it's time to put the show to bed really.

On another note, does anyone know the name of that actress that played Alex (Lip's girlfriend from Uni)?

Was it just me who thought it wasn't that good? As the series go on it is just simply losing its realistic grip, and what was with the streets being surrounded by a metal security fence. Did they not even attempt to mask the secret it is now a purpose built set? Disappointed with it really. :sad:

I don't think it was the best episode but the first episodes of the series of any TV program are great, it'll get a lot better as i've heard about some of the main stories that will be in the series and they sound good!

I think now would be a fantastic time to revive this old thread as the series is now fully on air. I am quite enjoying this series- better than the last one. Although I still think the original episodes are way better...

Paddy and Mimi are great. Still miss Kev and Veronica though... and Sheila of course :sad: My favourite character is Lilian though... she is great in next week's episode (I saw it on e4 first look :tongue:).

Strange how I like most of the women, barely any of the guys. I don't mind Carl/Ian/other Maguires, but I just prefer the others :)
