It's unfair, i live near it and its not as bad as they make out, a mate of mine lives there and she likes it there, better than where she lived before.

I live in fairfeild, and i want to move there because i've been there on a holiday with my aunt, she lives there and i went to visit and stayed about a week and it was lovely there, i loved it.

However, Middlesbrough is sickeningly horrible. (Some places of it are nice I suppose, but in general...)

im going to newcastle tommorrow and then sunderland on saturday for the match against bolton

i live about40 mins from middlesborough and i doubt its as bad as they make out but there is alot of crime in the area and some rough smack heads about but isnt there a few of those everywhere in the uk.Theres nice parts of middlesborough and theres plenty of nice people too.

There is a difference between the London area and the northern one, you can't say the contrary. It's not rich but it's not poor too. However, some exceptions exist so I haven't studied each city. :thumbs:

I live about 45 mins from Boro and personally cant stand the place. I go to the University of Teeside often for meetings and find the whole place other than the Uni very grim indeed. It is a very deprived area, yes there are nice parts of it like there are other cities but the place in general is just grim, grim, grim.
