X Factor runner-up Rhydian Roberts has apparently insisted that he loves ginger hair.
The Welsh singer dyed his hair blond for the show but says when he grows a beard it has a ginger tinge - and he says he isn't "betraying my ginger roots".
The 24-year-old told Star magazine: "I love ginger people! When I grow a beard, it's very much ginger. It's nice to have a little bit of ginger.
"If they bring ginger back in fashion then I've got a little bit. I'm not betraying my ginger roots. Over the years by hair has changed colour. I want to say thankfully, but actually ginger's good."
The classical singer - who lost out in the show final to Leon Jackson - admitted he has already started to attract the ladies.
He added: "Recently I saw a lovely lady from Wales who posed naked with the Welsh flag and is my biggest fan apparently!
"I don't feel like a sex symbol and I never have felt like one. I don't want a woman who only wants me for what I am. I just want somebody who loves me for who I am."
