View Full Version : Your thoughts on launch night...
Rather different launch night than we are used to, obviously Dermot was the host as Davina has a rest or whatever she's doing and then of course we had the whole Matt Lucas as BB and the secret mission/task John was given, so how do you think it went as a whole? one of the best launches yet possibly?

Very entertaining, and loved how the twist carried out through the Launch Night, rather than just beginning as the it ends. Though it lacked Davina...

for me i thought it was biased and totally pathetic
now it has given john a head start and he will now probable win
that launch has nothing on BB6,BB5 & CBB4

Best launch night ever.
Crap. Utter crap. I dont know what was worse. Dermot 'I dont want to be here' O' Learys performance , Matt Lucas reading from a sheet of paper , or the winner already being handpicked.
How about the boring , characterless , lifeless housemates?

Well I enjoyed it more than any other BB launch night, I thought it was great.

If you thought it was crap dont watch it. Simple.
Most people on the forum seemed to of really like the launch night.
I LOVED launch night. Best launch ever imo.
However, I do think John being set up for the final was slightly unfair...

I guess I should go with most people on the forum then? Simple? Eh?
I was sort of trapped into watching it during the time in question you see , because only by first watching it was I able to then summarise that it was crap. So yeah , watching it was quite useful in deducting my opinion on it.
And I will certainly keep watching , for hope of it becoming un-crap. But for now [and im sorry if this hurts your feelings] I think its utter rubbish to be honest.

I thought it was great !!!!
Except i hate Matt Lucas and that John thing was totally stupid and biased -
the camera was on him all night and saying cramp and massaging someone is no reason for a free pass to the final - any of them wudda done it
but except that i loved it!!!!

I thought it was hilarious,. I like the fact that the housemates are up % coming stars not has-beens like the normal cbb,. and I think it will be a fun year due to the fact so many hijackers will have their hands in the cake.

I thought it was okay, i don't like that the winner has been handpicked, because this task with john has put him into the final, and i wouldn't be surprised one bit if he won. It wasn't the best launch night, though it wasn't the worst.
Though i didn't think it was crap, i thought it was really funny at times.

I wasn't saying to go with the rest of the forum, i was just saying that the reaction from the people on the forum last night gave me the impression that they really enjoyed the launch.

I really struggled to find entertainment in an overweight , Scottish man being told to say 'Cake' at random.
Each to their own I guess.

Fantastic, amazing, brilliant. I haven't watched a launch show like that for ages. Pure entertainment and craziness, that's what we need !

Best launch night ever, it wasn't all "lets chuck another one in" it kept very funny etc with Matt and John. It was great - can't help but think Davina would have made it that little bit better, but Dermot was good.
