I watched this last night..... I wasnt sure whether I should or not as we often have supermarket cheap chicken.

After watching this, and its tastefully done, I can safely say that I will never eat any other chicken unless its free range.

Now I am not going to swap my weekly chicken allowance for free range but instead I am going to reduce the amount of chicken my family eats so that we have free range once a week instead of battery 3 times a week.

I have been watching it. I must admit that I only ever buy free range chicken and eggs.

Organic/free range food is great if you prioritise it, but the prices are ridiculous. My Dad had an allotment where he grew entirely organic food. I dont ever remember him commenting on the cost - and I can assure you if the cost was high he'd have said something - so why does this food cost so much? For that reason alone I still dont buy a great deal of organic food or free range meat and poultry and I will not until the prices go down.

I caught a bit of this last night and it seemed horrible what they do to the chickens.

I didn't get chance to watch this but I did manage to watch Jamie's Fowl Dinners. I'm never ever going to eat cheap chicken again. It's horrible how those chickens were treated and it should be made illegial.

I watched a bit of this, and Jamie Olivers Fowl DInners.
I refuse to eat Battery Meat now, but I have my own chickens, which we eat the eggs from.
