Last night, After the main show had finished, a flicked over to the live feed, and after about 5 minz that man with the petals comes in and started running around!

Is the live feed 5 minz behind or did he come in twice?

15 mins on the normal live feed (I've heard the housemates say the time live before and it was 15 minutes behind).

It varies. Sometimes it could be 20 minutes delay, but I've watched sometimes when it has been up to 50 minutes delay.

That isn’t true. It even says it is only 15 minutes on the wikipedia page here:

(Click on the 'live streaming' tab in the contents)

Wiki is not a reliable source. It is on average a 20 minute delay, but it does vary depending on the situation. Usually after eviction it is less then 20 minutes. I have watched BB Live on a 50 minute delay before - during Celebrity Hijack and other series I'm sure.

And arneldo is? I've heard the housemates state the time quite a few times on the live feed and it's always only been 15 minutes behind and wiki just confirms it.

You don't have to believe me - but I'm telling you it has at at least once this series been a 50 minute delay.

It was also posted after you said 15 mins. I don't think it was directed at just one person.

That wouldnt even work because it would be repeating stuff that had already been seen

How? It's on the live streaming. Also, if you compare the "live" footage to the times they give on the HL's you can get the delay.

I don't believe you since it's always only been 15 minutes when I watched it. It wouldn't make sense for them to vary it. I'm sorry wikipedia isn't reputible enough for you, if I can find a better source I will post it but personally I think it is correct.

I found this:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2006/jul/11/bigbrother.realitytv

It includes a comment from a channel 4 spokewoman: "There is a 15-minute delay, the same as TV, to allow us to cut out inappropriate material."

Which is from 2006

The restrict on the LF came after 2006, when complaints were made after housemates swore on LF, which was a big no-no.

Well done you! …there are many interviews and links on google that all say it is 15 minutes! The wiki page says it's 15 minutes, on the live feed, when the housemates state the time it is consistantly 15 minutes behind! Are you really telling me you are right and all these other sources are wrong?

Yes. Wiki is a very unreliable source, and the link you have provided here is from 2006.

Since CBB5 onwards - it has been approx, on average, 20 minutes time delay. And once this series, it has been 50 minutes.

Maybe you should check your clock?

I wonder, if I go and change it too 24234 minutes onWiki, will Oxymoron still believe it?

Very funny. But you are giving no links at all, just expecting me to take your word for it. I couldn't find anything to suggest the live streaming has changed since 2006. If you can find good evidence that it isn't 15 minutes then by all means put it up because otherwise, I'd be inclined to believe the vast majority of evidence I have found which states it is 15 minutes.

Well, here is a link to explain why from now on no "live" BB evict is infact live..
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/6188244.stm

It's been from that point on that the 15 minute time delay was brought up to 20 minute, due to an Ofcom ruling.

I cannot find any article about the change, but then again I can't see I should be able to. It was discussed both in this fourm and the DS:BB fourm.

At this point, you can either believe the false information posted in wikipedia, or fact.

Matt10k

Not just wikipedia, there are other links, check google yourself, they all say 15 minutes and since you can't prove what you call fact, I will believe 15 minutes. Let's just agree to differ.

The links that say 15 are from 2006 or before, well the ones I can see are.

to prove my fact - watch the LF, and you will soon see

I watch the live feed all the time. If I ever see that it is more than 15 minutes behind- say 50 as you said earlier, I will eat my words. I am not so arrogant in my views that I won't accept evidence if it comes and slaps me in the face, it's just that so far you have offered nothing so what do you expect me to believe?

I to watch a LOT of Live Feed, and every time I have checked it has been in or around 20 minute delay. I have offered nothing? And you have? A wiki page that can be edited by anyone and a article from 2006.
