Spiral Staircase used! Room above used as snug and interrogation room!

Tonight John got access to the spiral staircase and above was the snug where Chris was waiting for him. But I think the snug was an amy's interrogation room yesterday because I saw her going up it in tonights show. Also I think access to the spiral staircase in the house is from the loo. Because it says on the official site :
