To be honest its quite a few things.
Her presence in the diary room. The way she is so guarded in what she says.
I can reconise a few things in her and tha way she is which was like I was at her age (if that makes sense)

I think alot of gay ppl stir towards the sterotype so they never have to tell people that they are gay. Its out there from the begining. Coming out was the hardest and most exhilarating experience in my life. I was lucky tho, every accepted it. Infact my family care more for my gf than they do me i feel. Mums thinks is fab that she can do more girly stuff with us - like IKea lol

On the gay thing... it is easier to tell with guys I agree, but it's like if someone says they aren't, I think you have to give them the benefit of the doubt every time because it can be quite annoying at best and hurtful at worst.

Despite that point though, I would say there is a culture amongst some girls to say they are bi when they really aren't, like you said 'lipstick lesbians' which I find really annoying. I think it is because a bi woman is probably still a lot more culturally acceptable. I think they do it mainly to get attention from guys. It's a bit sad imo...

Well, considering they both have boyfriends, I'm not sure what to make of that. But it's an interesting idea! They seem pretty close, and if either were bisexual at all they might have gotten closer. But I think Emilia's much prettier than Amy as well, not to mention that neither have given any signs of being remotely bisexual. It probably would have made interesting viewing for us at home though - that's for sure.
