With their silly screaming, in-sync speaking and general all-round daftness, Sam and Amanda from Big Brother were two of last year's nicest, down-to-earth BB contestants. So it's with a heavy heart that we present you with the evidence that they've become the latest celebs to fall prey to lollipop syndrome – ie where your head looks bigger than your body because you're so thin. The girls, who've been signed to top model agency Select, looked pretty unrecognisable last night and more like wannabe Olsens than the girls who released a cover of Barbie Girl just a few months ago. Scary.

Oh no, I hoped they wouldn't lose weight. But they are still lovely and pretty, and will always be the best BB HM's ever.

In the modelling industry, anorexia is considered by some a good career move :bored:

Sam used to have a much rounder face. That was one of the things which was distinguishable between them. They look more alike now. Their arms look like they could snap.

It's a shame.

I agree Sticks. As their stars begin to fade, I'm sure their attempts to be noticed will become more and more drastic... one of which being to lose weight. :nono:

They were probably ordered to loose weight and not look like a pair of blimps or something of that ilk

Size zero is the weight to be in the fashion industry

I sent an email with our concerns to the publicity agent who handled Barbie girl and this is her reply

Thanks for your concern. The girls are both fine. You know the press!

model agencies demand; thin.thin.thin; (size zero) is ideal for the right look but not very healthy. too close to anorexia for my liking.
