i think britney should of been nominated for a Grammy and Brit Award ' Best international act' i mean her album was one of the best in 2007 and sold really well EVERYWHERE i think its unfair that she has been snubbed.

Nobody's doubting it wasn't a great album, everyone has their opinion anyway. But if you had respect and don't want to make her life worse then she shouldn't of been nominated, which is good for both Britney and the award shows as they don't want to be responsible if she makes a mockery of herself.

Maybe later this year she'll get the awards she deserves, and before any Grammy/Brits etc, the biggest award she can get right now is her kids.

Her comeback did better than Kylie freaking Minogue. Most of her singles did better than a lot of people nominated. She won't turn up, obviously, but recognition would be appreciated.

It's still circulating the charts, and has been in the top 40 since October. It's gradually selling more, and seeing as it only sold 30,000k in its first week, that's pretty impressive.

I don't think the album was that great. She has had much better songs in the past. I only liked one song on the entire album. Her voice is nothing special, and yes, she is a performer but that argument is void on this occasion because of her performance at the VMAs. She hasn't been on form in the past year imo, and that's me judging solely on her music.

Besides, I doubt these awards are a priority for her at the moment...

I haven't heard Kylie's album, but I prefer vocal talent to a heavily-produced voice so by the sounds of this post I'd probably prefer Kylie's album if I listened to it.

Kylie carer has spanned a huge amount of years, she has achieved so much, and worked so hard to get to where she is now, kylies comeback wasnt rubbish, come on she had cancer?,thats physically and more mentally challenging that what britney went through, im not saying that she had a harder time. Personally I preffered Kylie's album to Britney's. The main problem with Britney's album that her voice was fiddled with too much, It was good the first time you heard it but i think that Kylie's was a lot better.

On the point of the OBE Argument, I think Kylie is getting it because she has been in the business for years and has worked hard for her career. She's kind of a role model really, that's probably why she's getting an OBE.

Britney is better than Kylie by miles. The paparazzi wouldn't follow Kylie around like Britney gets followed around. Her voice does sound like it has been sung through a machine, but Madonna and other artists, Cher as well gets that machine-voice treatment. They still make big bucks as it happens. I think it all comes down to the bad press that Britney has received of late. Damn well due to her lack of care towards her two kids.
