Yeah, most of you were not pleased with my previous house and thus I abandoned it despite thinking that most people would like it, so I'm doing another house but much differently. We'll start off with the exterior with a more modern and wacky feel.

Love the stage.

It's not that good, I prefer the outsides of your other houses better.

The plasmas are a bit huge aren't they? lol

Have to admit that your outsides are always the weakest parts of your houses, but I love the sweeping walkway! :bouncy:

Wow that is nice!

I hate to say it geoking, but I don't really like it. I think it's your worst outdoor stage ever.

After you enter the house, this is what you're greeted with. A note in the lift states that the house is floor 1 and that B is for Big Brother only.

This is the lounge. The lounge is the first room that housemates see after they enter via the lift. This house has more industrial and abstract design but also incorporates modular and modern techniques. The roof is white but hard to see.

I really don't like it, sorry.

The whole room doesn't work it's horrible, sorry.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the house though.

I feel like giving up. I just don't understand how when I do stuff that's creative and ends up being copied by someone else it's horrible but when it's copied by someone who uses redundant house designs it's, "OMFG it's brilliant!" So I'm sorry that being different and having a unique house is so wrong and bad.

Who's copied your designs? :conf:

I don't really like the colours in this house. Some of your previous houses have been fantastic though so don't give up.

I think you should experiment with your colour schemes a bit. Your houses always seem to use dark colours.

It still doesn't work, the colours are a way too dark.

Get ready for a head-ache right now. With your incessant requests for brightness, I've tried to make this is as bright as possible with an unusual and eclectic design. There's an unusual wheel on the kitchen counter; it holds cabinets. However, not always where there's a knob there's a cabinet. There's also a wooden cabinet hanging from the curved cieling. An "UNDER CONSTRUCTION" sign is on a rough metal wall. Columns and pipes give a more industrial feel yet again. The Diary Room entrance is in the kitchen. This is one strange house.

The colours in the kitchen are much better and it looks great.

My only concern is that it is far too cramped - even if it is meant to be cramped, I don't think it should be so cramped to the point where it renders things like the table/chairs unusable?

geoking66
10-02-2008, 02:25 AM
It's actually not too cramped. Here's a dimensioned version

I like the chairs and the twisty poll and the diffirent elements of height, but Im not to sure on the rest yet.

I honestly think your house would look amazing if you used more nuteral, fun colours and not so much textures and patterns and bits popping out of the walls.

But weldone anyway!

I like it, but I dont like the use of the carpet or the stone tiles, its not very Big Brothery. The wheel thing is cool though.

Jake!

I like it. Don't let people get you down.

Spike
10-02-2008, 11:54 AM
I like the chais but It doesn't work for me i'm afraid.

I don't know the colours and the whole thing just don't work, and it doesn't really look like a Big Brother house, sorry.

I'm afriad to say this house isnt really your best,
I loved your other house the radically different one, wth the fingerprints to enter! now that was a good house :)

Here's a peak of the bedroom. It has a wine cellar (brick arch cieling) theme juxtaposed with the outdoors (forest wallpaper) alongisde saffron beds. There's a pointless staircase to intrigue the housemates. You can see along the hallway (this picture shows towards the kitchen) there is an odd curvature and a beam. That beam is one of a series of barn-like rafters that line the hallway from the bathroom to the outside (with a seamless doorway in between).

Here's a sneak peek of the bathroom. It contains creamy pink and white colours blended in with a wood-varnished hallway.

its pretty good, i agree, its great design, but its just because you use to many different patterns and ugly carpet designs, when in real bb they do not use those... also you cannot get by the chairs and table!

NOW! the bathroom looks like its gonna be great! With bright colours and radical design, it definitly looks bbish

:)

I like the bricks jutting in and out of the wall. Maybe you should have made more like this to make it more of a theme?

I'm going to make it more prevalent by the time the next garden picture is shown.
